Peperomia 'Ripple Red,' Medium
We recommend adding our Winter Plant Shipping Protection when ordering this during the winter months (November - April) if the order is shipping to an area that gets below 50 degrees. Add it here.
The Ripple Red looks a lot like the Peperomia Quito, and has very similar care requirements. It’s a slow-growing semi-succulent, meaning it stores water in the stems of those beautiful burgundy leaves that give this Peperomia its nickname.
Ripple Reds are more light-sensitive than other Peperomias and should not be exposed to direct sunlight, as it can hurt their beautiful foliage.
Care Level: 2 - Easygoing, a good match if you're still a newbie.
Likes: Well-draining soil, infrequent waterings, west or east facing windows.
Dislikes: Wet soil, overwatering, too much direct sunlight, too little light (i.e. north-facing windows).
Watering Frequency: Every 7-10 days, less in winter.
Size: 6" pot.
Not eligible for return. *Does not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.*
