Dainty, delicate and drapey, the String of Turtles have more of a limited-edition vibe than most of their succulent counterparts. Their tiny leaves have a unique color variegation that make them harder to cultivate.

String of Turtles are especially great plants for small spaces, as they don’t mind a tiny container and grow slowly, taking up to five years to reach full maturity.

Care Level: 2 - Easygoing, a good match if you're still a newbie.

Likes: Bright indirect light, well-draining soil.

Dislikes: Overwatering, extreme cold, direct sunlight.

Watering Frequency: Every 10-14 days, less in winter.
