Obovatas are a great “starter Hoya” for new plant parents who want to set themselves up for success. Hoyas are semi-succulents, so they’ll tolerate occasional or infrequent watering, and their bright green leaves will maintain their emerald color and waxy shape at many different light levels, even tolerating direct light.

Hang your Hoya Obovata in a window and let its vines dangle down, or use adhesive plant clips to trail it up the wall. 

Care Level: 2 - Easygoing, a good match if you're still a newbie.

Likes: Well-draining soil, bright indirect light, humidity.

Dislikes: Overwatering, drafts/vents, artificial-only light.

Watering Frequency: Every 7-10 days, less in winter.
