Hoyas, also called “wax plants,” have elegant, leafy green vines that look great in hanging planters. They’re low-maintenance, requiring occasional watering and ample indirect light.

The emerald-colored Hoya Carnosa in particular is even direct light-tolerant, so it can brighten up any window in your home. 

Care Level: 2 - Easygoing, a good match if you're still a newbie.

Likes: Well-draining soil, bright indirect light, humidity.

Dislikes: Overwatering, low light conditions, drafts/vents.

Watering Frequency: Every 7-10 days depending on the amount of light, less in winter.
