The Silvia, also called the Rose-Painted Calathea for obvious reasons, makes a great statement piece. Its fleshy, pink-streaked leaves demand center stage in your plant collection.

Like most calatheas, the Roseoptica Silvia is native to tropical climates, so it’s best to give yours as much humidity as possible. In some climates, adding a humidifier may be necessary. Calatheas are prone to pests and greatly benefit from regular leaf dusting/polishing.
