Hoyas, also called “wax plants,” have elegant, leafy green vines that look great in hanging planters. They’re low-maintenance, requiring occasional watering and ample indirect light.

In general, the more leaf variegation Hoyas have, the more delicate the leaves are, so keep your Tricolor away from direct sunlight.

Care Level: 2 - Easygoing, a good match if you're still a newbie.

Likes: Well-draining soil, bright indirect light, humidity.

Dislikes: Overwatering, low light conditions, drafts/vents.

Watering Frequency: Once a week in warmer months and once every 10-14 days in the winter, depending on the amount of light.
